Michelle Elder – Probate/Trust Administration/General
Michelle graduated from
Warsaw Community High School in 1983 and attended Ivy Tech where she
studied office administration. She was a stay at home mom for
her four boys for seven years followed by employment at Grace Village
Retirement and Health Care in Winona Lake. Michelle joined Refior
Law Office in 1999 where she has advanced to be the Probate/Trust Administration
Assistant. She loves spending time with her husband, their four
boys (ages 13, 16, 21 & 23) and daughter-in-law and is anxiously
awaiting the birth of her first grandson in May 2008. She and
her family attend Warsaw Community Church. Michelle enjoys vacationing,
boating, camping, scrap booking and weekly family dinner and game nights.

Becky Woodling
– Litigation/Trust Accounting and Administration
Becky graduated
from Tiffin University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Administration in Business
plus an Associate degree in Executive Secretarial Science. She worked
various part-time jobs in between her children’s schedules. She maintained
many dental office databases, was secretary to The Tiffin Columbian
Alumni Association (her alma mater) and was employed by an orthodontic
office working in financial reporting and collections. After her youngest
child went to school she obtained the computer room position at the
Tiffin Middle School. In 2001, she moved her family to Warsaw, Indiana.
In June of 2003, she joined Refior Law Office where she began as a general
secretary, and advanced to her present duties as a litigation and trust
accounting assistant. She and her husband have 5 children, ranging
in ages from 30 to 17, and 2 granddaughters and a grandson due in August.
Becky enjoys family time, her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, reading and
great friends.

Shelley Ahlersmeyer – Estate Planning/Corporate/Real
Estate
Shelley joined
the staff at RLO in May of 2004 as a paralegal working primarily in
the areas of estate planning, corporations and real estate. She has
a teaching degree from Ball State University and additional paralegal
training from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
Shelley began her legal experience at a small law firm in Lafayette,
Indiana. She later worked in Indianapolis as a paralegal in the areas
of bankruptcy, litigation and foreclosure. Shelley and her husband
stay busy keeping up with their five children, ranging in ages from
10 to 22. They attend Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw, where she
is Vacation Bible School director, church council member and a Sunday
School teacher. Shelley also enjoys doing some volunteer coaching and
reading a good book.

Pamela Refior
– Bookkeeping (see Introducing
Pam Refior)
Pam earned her Bachelor
of Arts degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1972 with a teaching certificate
for K-12. When Refior Law Office opened in 1981 Pam was the secretary
and bookkeeper. She continues to be the bookkeeper. Pam loves her
family – 2 daughters and 7 grandchildren. She enjoys her Bible Study,
family activities and games, travel, watching sports with her husband,
walking, biking, entertaining and reading. Pam and Rafe are active
members of Faith Baptist Church in Lafayette, Indiana. Pam and Rafe
live in two hometowns each week – half in Warsaw, Indiana, and half
in Lafayette, Indiana.
